    Bon A Petite!

    Cabbage Jambalaya

    1 medium cabbage, cut up
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
    1 can tomato sauce
    1/2 pound ground beef
    1/2 pound ground pork
    2 cups water
    1 1/2 cups rice
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    Put oil in a baking dish and layer half of the raw cabbage, raw rice, two ground meats mixed together, onions and pepper. Pour 1/2 can tomato sauce over layers. Repeat with another layer of same ingredients. Pour remaining sauce, salt and pepper and 2 cups water over layers. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
